Keep what works in container homes. Fix the rest.
ModuStrong designs steel building frames for the builders, dealers and integrators who turn them into homes, businesses and equipment buildings.
One question.
Container homes are popular for good reasons: they look modern, feel solid and go up fast. Talking with builders in Texas who build them, the same problems came up again and again: 8 ft is too narrow, every opening has to be cut and reinforced, the roof needs work, and a used box comes with unknowns.
So ModuStrong started with one question: what if a building could have the style and speed of a container home, but be designed as a building from day one, wider, ready for standard doors, windows and drywall, and easy for any crew to finish?
The answer is the MS-4810, an all-welded 48' × 10' steel frame, and a platform of products built on the same principles.
Four rules every product follows.
Works with normal crews
Installed with standard methods and materials, without reorganizing the job site.
Less work on site
Fewer labor hours, simpler connections and no cutting or reworking in the field.
Built for real weather
Designed for the wind, loads and codes of the place where it is installed.
Total installed cost
We measure value by the finished building and the time to deliver it, not only the price of the steel.
Made in steel country, close to Texas.
ModuStrong is based in Coahuila, one of Mexico's main steel-producing regions, where metal fabrication is the local industry. Frames reach the Eagle Pass border crossing, about 120 miles away, by truck.
The ModuStrong model: control the design, specifications, documentation and quality, and build through qualified fabrication partners in the region, to agreed tolerances and inspection standards. The region already has the shops, the steel and the skilled welders.
